About the Event
The aim of the project is to assist 10 people living with Cystic Fibrosis to create artwork in a medium of their choosing which will be displayed in an online multimedia exhibition with the Hearth Gallery in July / August 2020.
We are looking to work with 10 members of the CF centre across Wales to participate in an online, virtual multimedia arts project that will end in an online exhibition in association with the Hearth Gallery at Llandough Hospital.
Whether you are an exhibited artist or a complete beginner wishing to express yourself through your chosen art form, you are welcome to join us in this exciting opportunity of self-expression.
Tamsin Griffiths & Paul Whittaker are multidiscipline artists who work in theatre, sound, the written word, film, dance, digital imagery and physical performance and are looking to support 10 people to create 10 pieces of work for a new exhibition.
As a group we will decide on a theme for the exhibition. Each person can create their own work through their chosen medium with the support of Tamsin & Paul through online group sessions.
Why Join Us?
We are artists who work in Public Health and use multiple art forms to tell stories and share experiences as a catalyst for conversation and positive change. We are also lifelong Mental Health service users so we know how important it is to gather the experiences and thoughts of those with lived experience to make our creative output authentic and truthful.
As part of the project we would like to engage with you through open conversation to see how you could benefit from the project.
